Let's try again!

So i've been reminded from more than one person as of late, that i need to get back on top of this blog! So i'm going to make a second attempt!

A lot has happened since my last post and i'm sure everyone knows we're having another little girl. We still have to decide on a name. I don't know why it's so hard this time! My original due date was April 1st, but from the sonogram it looks more like March 27th. Isabella's sonogram estimated her due date as February 24th and that's the day she was born! So i tend to think they are more accurate. In a few weeks i'll make an appt with my sonogram technician and hopefully get a few 4D shots of the baby. We can't wait!

Isabella is growing more and more each day. The things she can say amaze me. It's like she absorbs everything she sees and hears. I wish she would stop growing so fast though! Other than her ever changing mood, attitude, and bad appetite we can't get enough of her.

The week of the 19th, we'll go down to my In-Laws house to do an early Christmas. We plan on doing some family pictures so i'll definitely post those when i get a chance. Then the day after Christmas we leave for Italy. Jon has to work so i'm bummed he won't get a chance to meet everyone and that he'll be alone for a few weeks, but i'm so happy Isabella gets a chance to meet her Great Nonna, and all her aunts, uncles and cousins! I'm very excited about all the yummy food too. I might look 9 months pregnant when i get back, so don't be too surprised :)

We're enjoying this Christmas season and the snow that fell a few days ago. It was exciting to see Isabella playing in it. It was a little too wet though. Hopefully our next snow storm is more of a dry and fluffy one! The tree and inside decorations have been up since Black Friday ( I really wanted to enjoy them before we left for Italy). Jon worked on the outside ones yesterday. He wanted to surprise me when i came home from work. Unfortunately i didn't approve of some placements and ended up taking a few down (yes i know...i feel bad). So now we just have one bush with white lights. Maybe i'll work on it more when it's not so cold and rainy.

That's all for now, Hopefully i'll be back sooner than the last time! If not have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend was fun! We started out Saturday with a bbq. My In Laws came over and we celebrated my father in-laws birthday with lots of food and lots of cheesecake! We put out the sprinkler for Isabella, but she was terrified of it. She was happy just to walk around in her new bathing suit. Jon wasn't so fond of me getting a 2 piece for her...but it's easier to change her diaper! and it's not one of those skimpy 2 pieces!

She is also sporting her new sunglasses
On Sunday we came home from church and then changed to go to my parents house for another bbq...Isabella fell asleep and wouldn't even wake up while i changed her into another outfit. Here she is curled up on my bed.
Then on Monday we went to visit Saint Michaels on the Eastern Shore. It was a cute little town with shops and good food!

Here are the boys patiently waiting for my mom and I to get out of the shops.

We also enjoyed a little boat ride...but it was sure hot and i couldn't wait to get off! The driver was so slow that there was no breeze!

And of course we ate Lunch...yummy!

Look how tall Matthew is Getting!

What a good picture!

Isabella's Makeover

So this weekend Jon attended a sealing of one of his childhood best friends...Since they had a long day planned I decided to stay home with Isabella. I wanted to see how she looks with pigtails since her hair is long enough now, and we also painted our toes! Below are a few pictures of her and her new look! I also put a picture of her and Jon taking a nap before church yesterday!

Storyville Library

So i got the idea to go here from Katherine's blog and it was the best idea ever! This is a public library located about 30 min away in Baltimore county and they had the cutest toddler size play areas for kids 0-5. They had different areas including a store, theater, construction zone, a garden, the bay, and a house. Each section had a display of books relating to that theme. Very neat! Dara and Brett joined us and we can't wait to go again!

About Time

I've never been good about keeping a journal, so maybe a blog is the thing for me! I have no exciting news or events to write about now, but hopefully in the next few months my blog will come to life! But in the mean time, i can brag and talk about Isabella all day...

She is learning something new everyday and it is amazing to see. Lately her favorite thing to do is give us random kisses on our arms, face, legs (whatever she can reach basically) just out of the blue. She is also very emotional and we like to call her our drama queen. Just the word "no" can send her flying to tears. She covers up her eyes with her hands and starts to cry. It's actually quite funny! Here is a picture of her doing just that!

She is also understanding more and more of what we tell her to do which is awesome! She can throw her own diapers away (except for the poopy ones that go in the diaper genie, lol). She also LOVES to dance and sing. She saw a newborn baby at church this past Sunday a few pews away. She kept on staring and telling me "baby". Then she made a rocking motion with her arms and started to sing an Italian lullaby that starts out with the line "NinaNana Baby" . It was so cute! She's going to make a great big sister!

Among other things her favorite answer to any question is "no", and she loves to test our patience whenever given the opportunity (especially at meal times). She loves to play outside, put grown up shoes on, pretend to sweep the floor, and show us her belly button....

The flash on our camera always makes her blink!
